Dr. Chemical has compared writing for Abraxas Pool’s new album to that on ‘Abraxas Pool’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Abraxas Pool really suprise for me from Abraxas Pool. You need to listen Abraxas Pool. It’s really cool. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
A Million Miles Away is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Baila Mi Cha-Cha is one of the more up-tempo songs on Abraxas Pool. Waiting For You gives good insight into the truths. Album opener Going Home is a bright, upbeat ditty. Szabo - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Guajirona is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Cruizin’, which shows, blatantly, how much Abraxas Pool has evolved as a singer. Simple and heartfelt closing track Don’t Give Up closes Abraxas Pool on a high note. In Ya Llego the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Jingo is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Abraxas Pool have ended.
