This -song debut EP shows the promise that Alan Stivell has. This is one of greatest albums of Alan Stivell. I guess you need to listen )Zoom( (CD1) as soon as possible. )Zoom( (CD1) touched my soul like nothing else.
It’s a great pleasure to listen to Suite Des Montagnes from the beginning to the end. The song feels complete. Ys is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Airde Cuan is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Suzy McGuire (Siun Ni Dhuibhir) - This is a very lively song. I hope to keep hearing Alan Stivell works for a long time to come. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. From the moment you listen to Stok Ouzh An Enez (En Vue De L’ile) you’re hooked. Vocals of Alan Stivell in Negro Song really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Eireog Shineidin is outstanding work of Alan Stivell. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Rory Dall’s Love Tune, which shows, blatantly, how much Alan Stivell has evolved as a singer. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Alan Stivell. An Advod is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Mna Na Heireann (Women Of Ireland) - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. I have all of Alan Stivell’s tracks and Suite Irlandaise is probably the most his introspective effort.
