I Want My Roots carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Self-described as Rock with lots of words, John B. Sebastian comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. John B. Sebastian had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. I Want My Roots constantly brilliant.
This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Goin’ To Germany is such a perfect and optimistic song that things can get just better. Big Road Blues make listening to John B. Sebastian like being in some sort of time warp. I believe Just Don’t Stop Till You’re All Worn Out is one of the most amazing, heartfelt songs ever written. Ain’t Nowhere To Hobo Anymore is a fine track on any terms. The first time I listened to Milk Cow Blues I was struck by its exquisite sound. Rain Hey Rain - This is a very lively song. Satesboro Blues is the most memorable and amazing. After few listenings I started to like New Jug Band Waltz more and more. Tappin’ That Thing is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Yank Rachell Boogie rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Music of KC Moan is gentle, never overbearing.
