This album has some very good songs like Brakhage and Miss Modular. Dots and Loops one of my best. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Stereolab on ‘Brakhage’. Dots and Loops touched my soul like nothing else.
Miss Modular - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Song The Flower Called Nowhere is actually a funny song. Diagonals (5:15) - awsome. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Within the first few notes of Rainbo Conversation it’s perfectly clear that Stereolab is living this song. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Parsec is pretty funky and mellow. Ticker-Tape Of The Unconscious is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. I think Contronatura is the best song Stereolab has ever done.
