Self-described as Acid Jazz with lots of words, Acid Jazz - Various Artists comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. There is so much to love about Acid Jazz - Various Artists, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Lead single “Unify (Ripped) (Pressure Drop)” and “Nine Miles (Nautilus)” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. The Future Sound Of Jazz 4 (CD1) constantly brilliant.
Opening track Nine Miles (Nautilus) shows the best of Acid Jazz - Various Artists. Donaueschingen (Rainer Truby Trio) is the first taste of the new album. The Hideout (As One) was the first single release from the album The Future Sound Of Jazz 4 (CD1). Ocean Beat (Tosca) is the albums biggest surprise. Nice and different song. I can’t stop humming along Transparent (Reflection). Est-Ce Une Gopher Party, Baby (Alex Gopher) have really caught my ear and imagination. The song feels complete.
