Down To The Bone sings Brooklyn Heights in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Savour The Flavour - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Muesli Brown as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Yo Mama’s So Phat is my favorite song on From Manhattan To Staten. Touch Of Voodoo one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. 17 Mile Drive makes a person feel excellent. Carlito’s Way is the funkiest number on the album. I listened to the opening track 3 Days In Manhattan and liked it a lot. On The Corner Of Darcy Street marked the continuation of Down To The Bone in style evolution.
