This is the first studio album from Primus since bad diagnosis in 1997. Primus had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Great album Brown Album - just must listen it! Brown Album album is a scorcher!
Fisticuffs is astounding. Don’t judge Golden Boy on the first listening. Over The Falls is a song to enjoy for years to come. Snake Hands With Beef is so unique, as each one of the songs is. Camelback Cinema is a bit of a show-tune. Hats Off is a very catchy tune. Puddin’ Taine is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Primus rocks harder than ever with Bob’s Party Time Lounge. Duchess and The Proverbail Mind Spread gives good insight into the truths. Restin’ Bones stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. A unique and uplifting song. Kalamazoo is the albums biggest surprise. The Chastising Of Renegade - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. What sets Arnie apart is Primus’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres.
