Silicon Trip CD - one of the best in Trance: Psychedelic. This is one of the best Cd’s Shakta has dropped to date. Shakta’s debut, ‘Silicon Trip’, does not fit easily into one genre. Such great and happy songs.
Shakta emotions are reflected through Lepton Head Part Iii. Silicon Trip is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. I have all of Shakta’s tracks and Ion Tribe is probably the most his introspective effort. Spirit. Beings In Phys. Bodies is simple, dignified and effective, Shakta refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Temporal Shift - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. The first time I listened to Shakti’shakta I was struck by its excellent sound. Inner Polarity - For me, this is the best of the album. Loopmutant is beautiful, yet underrated track. Earthrise - another great track from the Silicon Trip album.
