It has been two years Boka’ last studio CD, “Dolya vorovskaya” which won Academy Awards’½ and was nominated for album of the year. For older fans Dolya vorovskaya will put a massive smile accross your face. Lead single “Tri goda” and “Zaraza” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. I Love Dolya vorovskaya from start to finish!
Zaraza - Check out that bassline! Dolya vorovskaya is really the reason why I recommend buying Dolya vorovskaya. Na schto pohogi oblaka - arguably the best track on Dolya vorovskaya album. Osennya rosa is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Don’t judge Moy gorod on the first listening. Nashel druguu - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. The song feels complete. Zvenit zvonok gets you up and jumping. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Cherniy voron. I like Lida because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. This track is clearly meant to showcase Boka’s vocal abilities.
