Driller Killer’s debut, ‘Fuck The World’, does not fit easily into one genre. Since completing 1997’s ‘Tomorrow’, Driller Killer fulfilled their contract with Aggro Berlin and where under no obligation to release another album. Fuck The World isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Fuck The World - another great offering from Driller Killer.
This track is clearly meant to showcase Driller Killer’s vocal abilities. In Sick Shit Driller Killer is at his best. I hope to keep hearing Driller Killer works for a long time to come. Weakend Warrior - My least favorite song on this album. Freeman is a strong cut, one of many. Beaten Down is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. Hellcome - This is a very lively song. Thrill Of The Pill is the most memorable and astounding. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Fuck The World is Blind Naked N Covered With Shit. Still Alive is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. Driller Killer is hitting on all cylinders in Times Up. Suffering Is Human motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Driller Killer. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Lies is a bit different from Driller Killer stereotypical stuff.
