Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Gino D’auri on ‘Los Moros’. This -song debut EP shows the promise that Gino D’auri has. This is the first studio album from Gino D’auri since bad diagnosis in 1997. Flamenco Mystico is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
Guajira Antigua - A classic Gino D’auri track. Barrio Santiago (Bulerias) is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Las Minas (Tarantas) - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Quelo De Triana (Soleares) is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Flamenco Mystico (Fantasia) - My least favorite song on this album. Rondena Para Sabicas is a medium tempo tune. Recuerdo De La Alhambra is a very catchy tune.
