It has been six years Johnny Copeland’ last studio CD, “Live In Australia [1990]” which won Australian Gospel Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Johnny Copeland’s debut, ‘Live In Australia [1990]‘, does not fit easily into one genre. This disc has all of the essential Johnny Copeland classics. Live In Australia [1990] is awesome.
I love the melodic melody of That’s All Right Arm and to this day it makes me feel good. Within the first few notes of Cut Off Her Right Arm it’s perfectly clear that Johnny Copeland is living this song. Excuses which is my favorite is a truly Johnny Copeland sounding song. Wella Wella baby is a very catchy tune. Love Her With A Feeling pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. In Look On Yonder Wall the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Nobody But You on Live In Australia [1990] is solid and easy to listen to. This is probably my favorite song on the album.
