This -song debut EP shows the promise that Steel Pulse has. There is so much to love about Steel Pulse, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. ‘Rage And Fury’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. It is very exciting!
I hope to keep hearing Steel Pulse works for a long time to come. I-Spy… (No Stranger To Danger) - Check out that bassline! Settle The Score (4:33) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! This song may be the most meaningful. I like to sing along with The Real Terrorist, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Black And Proud stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Ku Klux Klan great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Blame On Me is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Steel Pulse sings Black Enough in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Peace Party as a highlight of Rage And Fury contains a ton of gorgeous melodies. The sound in Spiritualize It is really warm and Steel Pulse’s signature voice is still very much present. Kkk In The Jungle is the most memorable and exquisite.
