This disc has all of the essential The Jerky Boys classics. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of The Jerky Boys on ‘Cold Feet-Frank Rizzo’. This is the first studio album from The Jerky Boys since bad diagnosis in 1997. IT makes me wanna dance!
The Need To Dance-Jack Tor S is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. The Jerky Boys allows each song to breathe and flourish. Put Testing For Jeapardy-Frank Rizzo into car stereo for your highway driving A fantastic track full of wonder. Little Elves-Tarbash presents the exquisite mix of instruments on The Jerky Boys 4. I’m A Diva-Jack Tor S I just LOVE this mix! The sound of Boats Express-Frank Rizzo is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Overall a nice softer song. Kissel Sails-Kissel W/ Wife had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Herman-Sammy Cox - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. Rizzo The Rainmaker-Frank Rizzo is really the reason why I recommend buying The Jerky Boys 4. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Bacon-Jack Tor S. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Some call A Little Information-Jack Tor S from The Jerky Boys 4 as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Vocals of The Jerky Boys in Trains-Jocko Johnson really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. The Jerky Boys is hitting on all cylinders in Mining For Scotty-Frank Rizzo. In Mariposa-Pico it becomes nowhere more obvious that The Jerky Boys has yet to define own style. I now have Spider Monkey-Jack Tor S as one of my personal favorites. Truck Registration-Frank Rizzo is The Jerky Boys’s best work in years. Sol’s Turnstile-Sol Rosenberg is one of these floating songs. The sound in Laundromat-Kissel?Uncle Freddy is really warm and The Jerky Boys’s signature voice is still very much present.
