There is so much to love about The Lost Boyz, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Lead single “Beasts From The East” and “Black Hoodies (Interlude)” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. When you buy a The Lost Boyz album, you know exactly what you’re getting! One of The Lost Boyz’s best albums yet.
Black Hoodies (Interlude) has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets The Lost Boyz’s strong vocals come to the fore. I think Certain Things We Do is the best song The Lost Boyz has ever done. Day 1 is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Love, Peace and Nappiness. From My Family To Yours (Dedication) motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Games is a cool sing-along. Get Your Hustle On is one of the more up-tempo songs on Love, Peace and Nappiness. Get Love, Peace and Nappiness and turn on Intro if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Love, Peace & Nappiness is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Me & My Crazy World is such a exquisite and optimistic song that things can get just better. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think My Crew is my favorite song on Love, Peace and Nappiness. So Love (4:33) - awsome. After about the third Summer Time listen through, I began to believe this song is The Lost Boyz’s essence. This track is clearly meant to showcase The Lost Boyz’s vocal abilities. The first time I listened to What’s Wrong I was struck by its exquisite sound. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer.
