This -song debut EP shows the promise that The Psychedelic Furs has. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of The Psychedelic Furs on ‘India’. Should God Forget: A Retrospective (CD 1) one of my best. Should God Forget: A Retrospective (CD 1) constantly brilliant.
This song is dynamic and dramatic. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Pulse. This is probably my favorite song on the album. After you’ve listened to Blacks / Radio, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Song We Love You is actually a funny song. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. Soap Commercial (Live) had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Pretty In Pink (Original Version) on Should God Forget: A Retrospective (CD 1) is solid and easy to listen to. Mr. Jones - A catchy, upbeat tune. Into You Like A Train is a very catchy tune. I Wanna Sleep With You is worth the money. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of The Psychedelic Furs. I loved Love My Way the first time I heard it. Sleep Comes Down is the funkiest number on the album. I think I Don’t Want To Be Your Shadow (Non-LP B-Side) is the best song The Psychedelic Furs has ever done.
