This -song debut EP shows the promise that Chastain has. This album has some very good songs like Human Sacrifice and Blackening. It’s natural for Chastain to take a stab at ‘Human Sacrifice’ considering her long-professed love for Hotch potchi. I love In Dementia so much, i’ve been crazy about Chastain ever.
Blackening is a medium tempo tune. Seven is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. In Sick Puppy Chastain is at his best. Tongue is probably the most interesting track on In Dementia. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is In Dementia because the melody in the chorus is so good. House Of Stone is probably one of Chastain’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Conformity still maintains something of a specific flourish. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Desperately.
