Now signed to Haggard’s Can’t Stop Eating, the title track from second album “And Thou Shalt Trust… The Seer” leads Haggard’s back-to-school campaign. For older fans And Thou Shalt Trust… The Seer will put a massive smile accross your face. Since completing 1997’s ‘Chapter I: The Day As Heaven Wept’, Haggard fulfilled their contract with Can’t Stop Eating and where under no obligation to release another album. And Thou Shalt Trust… The Seer is the best album I have heard in a long time
Chapter II: Origin Of A Crystal Soul is such a amazing and optimistic song that things can get just better. I like to sing along with Chapter II: Requiem In D-Minor, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Chapter III: In A Pale Moon’s Shadow motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. And Thou Shalt Trust… The Seer couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Chapter III: Cantus Firmus In A-Minor. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Chapter V: Lost (Robin’s Song) is a fine track on any terms. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Haggard.
