Skoidats is work hard for The Times. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Skoidats. Skoidats’s debut, ‘The Times’, does not fit easily into one genre. It is very exciting!
Granted is a medium tempo tune. Lyrics of Whirlwind are precise and evocative. Overall a nice softer song. Musically Last Night is superior to other tracks in The Times. Rootsawalkin’ the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Moonstomp’97 because the melody in the chorus is so good. One listen to the sheer beauty of Still Standing was all I needed. All of songs on The Times and have something to say letting alone Halfway There. After few listenings I started to like Goggles & Blinders more and more. Yesterday is a astounding, simple song by Skoidats at the top of his game. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Skoidats. The Times - A strong beat. Beer,beer,beer is one of my favorite songs by Skoidats.
