Snot’s debut, ‘Get Some’, does not fit easily into one genre. When you buy a Snot album, you know exactly what you’re getting! It has been sixteen years Snot’ last studio CD, “Get Some” which won Canadian Country Music Association and was nominated for album of the year. Get Some is the best album I have heard in a long time
Stoopid - I like this one. Joy Ride is a fine track on any terms. The opening track The Box is very much like you would expect from other albums. Snooze Button is absolutely incredible. 313 is a very catchy tune. The sound in Get Some is really warm and Snot’s signature voice is still very much present. Deadfall is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. I Jus’ Lie is a bit different from Snot stereotypical stuff. Listening to Get Some O’ Deez you can hear that Snot has still amazing chemistry with band members. Unplugged is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Simple and heartfelt closing track Tecato closes Get Some on a high note. Mr. Brett gets you up and jumping. In Get Some Keez Snot spins a tale you want to hear to the end. My Balls is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done.
