This is the first studio album from The Dandy Warhols since bad diagnosis in 1997. I am not a real ROck: Alternative music type of person, but i have to admit ‘The Dandy Warhols Come Down’ really is amazing. Since completing 1997’s ‘Be-In’, The Dandy Warhols fulfilled their contract with EMS Recordings and where under no obligation to release another album. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like The Dandy Warhols Come Down.
This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Minnesoter gives taste of what makes The Dandy Warhols special as a musician. Orange make listening to The Dandy Warhols like being in some sort of time warp. I Love You is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Not If You Were The Last Junkie On Earth is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Every Day Should Be A Holiday is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Good Morning without a doubt is the standout song of The Dandy Warhols Come Down. Whipping Tree - My least favorite song on this album. Opening track Green shows the best of The Dandy Warhols. In Cool As Kim Deal The Dandy Warhols is at his best. First time I heard Hard On For Jesus was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.In Pete International Airport The Dandy Warhols spins a tale you want to hear to the end. You have to get essence of the The Creep Out’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece.
