When Disaster Strikes isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. On When Disaster Strikes album, Busta Rhymes have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. ‘When Disaster Strikes’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Busta Rhymes “When Disaster Strikes” is an amazing album.
The Whole World Lookin’ At is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Turn It Up Rmx is a perfect sing-along. When Disaster Strikes (3:25) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Busta Rhymes. When Disaster Strikes couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Get High Tonight. Turn It Up is almost impossible to review. Put Your Hands Where My… is a great opener for When Disaster Strikes. It’s All Good is excellent work of Busta Rhymes. There’s Not A Problem is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. We Could Take It Outside is the funkiest number on the album. I can’t stop humming along Rhymes Galore. It’s such an underrated song. Things We Be Doin’ For $ P2 very upbeat. This song is dynamic and dramatic. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. The Bodyrock is really the reason why I recommend buying When Disaster Strikes. I like Get Off My Block because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Outro is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through When Disaster Strikes.
