For older fans American Landscape will put a massive smile accross your face. This is the first studio album from David Benoit since bad diagnosis in 1997. I am not a real Jazz: Fusion music type of person, but i have to admit ‘American Landscape’ really is amazing. American Landscape is one of David Benoit best albums
Max’s Boogie the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Lost In Tokyo is the albums biggest surprise. If I Can Believe - For me, this is the best of the album. A Personal Story gives taste of what makes David Benoit special as a musician. After few listenings I started to like Rue De Ta Soleil more and more. David Benoit has astounded me with this amazing track. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. The opening track Speed Racer is very much like you would expect from other albums.
