Let’s Face It isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. one years ago, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “The Rascal King”. Let’s Face It one of my best. Let’s Face It is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
The Rascal King has a fun tempo. Royal Oil one of the best in my collection. The Impression That I Get is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. The Mighty Mighty Bosstones rocks harder than ever with Let’s Face It. That Bug Bit Me is probably the most interesting track on Let’s Face It. In Another Drinkin’ Song full palet of sound is used by The Mighty Mighty Bosstones to accentuate the presentation. I find myself hearing bits of Numbered Days here and there throughout my waking hours. Musically Break So Easily is superior to other tracks in Let’s Face It. Voice and instruments in Nevermind Me complement each other. Desentisized - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. After you’ve listened to 1-2-8, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate.
