There is no doubt that Trance - Various Artists has talent and Clockwork - In The Mix is great.IF YOU LIKE ALL Trance - Various Artists’S SONG GO FOR IT! Trance - Various Artists’s debut, ‘Clockwork - In The Mix’, does not fit easily into one genre. Clockwork - In The Mix is not something you should pass up.
This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. I think Red Dragon (SEM) is the best song Trance - Various Artists has ever done. Music and lyrics of Fable (Robert Miles) creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. The opening track Geomantik (Prana) is very much like you would expect from other albums. Sacred Cycles (Peter Lazonby) - A classic Trance - Various Artists track. Ballistique (Nunca) - a classic song. Hot Knives (Nem Cru) is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Transmutation (L S G) is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. The sound in Inner City Life (Goldie) is really warm and Trance - Various Artists’s signature voice is still very much present. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Man In The Moon (Csilla) - arguably the best track on Clockwork - In The Mix album. Offshore (Chicane) is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. Trance - Various Artists sings his heart out in Dream (Clockwork). The Gloom (Castle Trancelott) defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. Don’t judge D_R_O_P_ (Ascendence) on the first listening. House On Fire (Arkana) is a strong cut, one of many. You have to get essence of the Magnetic Field (Analogue Silence)’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Thoughts (Altered State) is a amazing sing-along.
