This disc has all of the essential Hans Zimmer classics. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Hans Zimmer’s album Peacemaker falls to No. 2 with 465,000, a sales slide of 50%. Hans Zimmer was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Hans Zimmer and Peacemaker together. Peacemaker album is in perfect progression from Hans Zimmer!
The opening track Trains is very much like you would expect from other albums. I think Devoe’s Revenge is the best song Hans Zimmer has ever done. Train is a bit of a show-tune. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Hans Zimmer. Sarajevo is worth the money. Chase is another strong production from Hans Zimmer. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Nuclear Foult is my favorite song on Peacemaker. Hans Zimmer is one of artists that allow his songs like Kodoroff to stand on their own and be heard. Is Alive is a good listen every once in a while. Album opener Evidence is a bright, upbeat ditty. Hans Zimmer sings his heart out in Password. Put The Outside Line into car stereo for your highway driving The Real World is a song to enjoy for years to come. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Piano Teacher hits the heart. The Frontier catches attention immediately, It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. I Need More Time - A catchy, upbeat tune. After you’ve listened to Davoe’s Revenge, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. I Never has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. A fantastic track full of wonder. I’m Not A Monster great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.In Piano Sereno (Chopin) Hans Zimmer spins a tale you want to hear to the end. I Must Go is perfect. A great put together song. I find myself hearing bits of Peacemaker here and there throughout my waking hours. Encounter - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Family. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. La Guardia is simply cool. Searching is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Where - arguably the best track on Peacemaker album. The Target Missing is Hans Zimmer’s best work in years. You Can’t Stop This is nothing but pure genius. Once Prelude gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Music and lyrics of 00.00.59 creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. You Okay is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Finale - End Title pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Simple and heartfelt closing track Chase (Previously Unreleased) closes Peacemaker on a high note.
