Epitaph (CD 2) isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. nine years ago, King Crimson briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “21st Century Schizoid Man (Fillmore West, 15dec69)”. 21st Century Schizoid Man (Fillmore West, 15dec69) gives taste of what makes King Crimson special as a musician. I love the melodic melody of Epitaph (Fillmore West, 15dec69) and to this day it makes me feel good. I like the agression and power of Drop In (Fillmore West, 15dec69). One listen to the sheer beauty of A Man, A City (Fillmore West, 15dec69) was all I needed. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create.
