On In Abhorrence Dementia album, Limbonic Art have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Limbonic Art was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Limbonic Art and In Abhorrence Dementia together. While no new Limbonic Art album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1997 tour in Europe. Overall, I would highly recommend In Abhorrence Dementia CD.
A Demonoid Virtue was the first single release from the album In Abhorrence Dementia. A Venomous Kiss Of Profane Grace is a astounding, simple song by Limbonic Art at the top of his game. Vocals of Limbonic Art in When Mind and Flesh Departs really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Deathrip To A Mirage Asylum is a bit different from Limbonic Art stereotypical stuff. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on In Abhorrence Dementia is Under Burdens Of Life’s Holocaust. Within the first few notes of Oceania it’s perfectly clear that Limbonic Art is living this song. Behind The Mask Obscure one is one of the better boring ones. Misanthropic Spectrum is probably one of Limbonic Art’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to.
