After seeing Symbols Of Bloodswords, I had to have a good Mayhem CD. On Wolf’s Lair Abyss album, Mayhem have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Mayhem. Wolf’s Lair Abyss is awesome.
Ancient Skin is such a gorgeous and optimistic song that things can get just better. Fall Of Seraphs - A catchy, upbeat tune. It’s such an underrated song. Music of The Vortex Void Of Inhumanity is gentle, never overbearing.
