Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Osculum Infame on ‘A Prelude To Dor-Nu-Fauglith’. Dor-Nu-Fauglith carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. four years ago, Osculum Infame briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Under The Sign Of The Beast”. It is very deep stuff.
Don’t judge Under The Sign Of The Beast on the first listening. Vampiric Warmaster (Part Ii) still maintains something of a specific flourish. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Dor-Nu-Fauglith. When Iron Has Been Blended With Blood is probably the most interesting track on Dor-Nu-Fauglith. The Nine Ghosts Of The King Of Power - My least favorite song on this album. Kein Entkommen - A nice song. Best song on the album, love it. Among Mist and Shadows… - Okay, I just talked about depth.
