When you buy a Pino Daniele album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Dimmi Cosa Succede Sulla Terra isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Pino Daniele was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Pino Daniele and Dimmi Cosa Succede Sulla Terra together. One of Pino Daniele’s best albums yet.
Amici Come Prima is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. I like to sing along with Non Ho Puara del Mostro, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Dubbi Non Ho is exquisite song though, very addictive. Mia Emozione Piu’ Forte catches attention immediately, Che Male C’ - Okay, I just talked about depth. Musically Continueremo a Navigare is superior to other tracks in Dimmi Cosa Succede Sulla Terra. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Questo Immenso is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Desert in My Head - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Se Domani Piovera’ is a bit different from Pino Daniele stereotypical stuff.
