Lead single “Ripper Victims I” and “Ripper Victims II” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Sutcliffe Jugend’s debut, ‘We Spit On Their Graves’, does not fit easily into one genre. This is the first studio album from Sutcliffe Jugend since bad diagnosis in 1997. I like to sing along with Ripper Victims II, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. I can’t stop playing Ripper Victims III. Ripper Victims IV one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. Sutcliffe Jugend rocks harder than ever with Ripper Victims VI. Voice and instruments in Ripper Victims VII complement each other. Ripper Victims VIII can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Sutcliffe Jugend is all about. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. The opening track Ripper Victims X is very much like you would expect from other albums. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Ripper Victims XI, which shows, blatantly, how much Sutcliffe Jugend has evolved as a singer. Ripper Victims XII is another strong production from Sutcliffe Jugend. What sets Ripper Victims XIII apart is Sutcliffe Jugend’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. I now have Tortures I as one of my personal favorites. Tortures II is beautiful, yet underrated track. Don’t judge Tortures III on the first listening. Tortures IV - A strong beat. This track is full of harmonies and gets We Spit On Their Graves off to a relaxing start. After few listenings I started to like Tortures VI more and more. Tortures VII is just simply stunning. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. Sutcliffe Jugend sings his heart out in Whores’ Endlosung. Menta good vocals. Human Disregard is such a excellent and optimistic song that things can get just better. Only one song from We Spit On Their Graves named Sex Beast really got me. Although Hammer Death (Ripper Attack) is very melodic it is far from sad.
