Virtual Audio Project (Soundscapes)’s debut, ‘Meditation’, does not fit easily into one genre. There is so much to love about Virtual Audio Project (Soundscapes), starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Virtual Audio Project (Soundscapes) on ‘Direct 2 Brain - Dreams Of Being’. Such great and happy songs.
After you’ve listened to U.P.I. - Viable Frequence, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. I was truly moved when I heard Explora - Inner Storm. Direct 2 Brain - Meditation as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Charming song, great melody. Soundsphere Ii - Finding Myself very upbeat. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. A. Katajama - New System (5:06) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! U.P.I. - Creative Energy is a medium tempo tune. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot.
