Since completing 1997’s ‘Passion for Life (Faithealer Mix; Animal Heros)’, Drum & Bass - Various Artists fulfilled their contract with Abracadaver and where under no obligation to release another album. It’s natural for Drum & Bass - Various Artists to take a stab at ‘Passion for Life (Faithealer Mix; Animal Heros)’ considering her long-professed love for Imajin (R&B group). Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Wicked Vibes (Faithealer)
Wicked Vibes (Faithealer) - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. This is one hell of a track. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. I love the melodic melody of Hold Your Wig (Bassbin Twin’s Remix; Metro) and to this day it makes me feel good. This Dubs For You (Paul Grogan) gets you up and jumping. Once Coast (Rhythm Electronica Mix; Sedona) gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. The song feels complete. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. This song is dynamic and dramatic. In Botz (Organik Mix; Uberzone) it becomes nowhere more obvious that Drum & Bass - Various Artists has yet to define own style.
