Self-described as Rock: Punk-Rock with lots of words, POPPERKLOPPER comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Lead single “Aufrechter Deutscher” and “Veteran” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Wer Sich Nicht Wehrt really suprise for me from POPPERKLOPPER. Wer Sich Nicht Wehrt is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
Veteran is such a cool and optimistic song that things can get just better. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Gewalt - POPPERKLOPPER first major hit. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Only one song from Wer Sich Nicht Wehrt named Ich Bins! really got me. Geoutet is a fine track on any terms. POPPERKLOPPER is one of artists that allow his songs like Lovesong to stand on their own and be heard. Sein Grosser Tag is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Rache Der Natur is the funkiest number on the album. 1000 Opfer one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Jeden Tag ‘ne Gute Tat is the albums biggest surprise. Wie Oft? - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. Get Wer Sich Nicht Wehrt and turn on Die Kalte Stadt if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Digestiv - This is a very lively song.
