This disc has all of the essential Samuel Reid classics. For older fans Sanctuary 2 Fire From The Sky will put a massive smile accross your face. I think this is best New Age album. Samuel Reid “Sanctuary 2 Fire From The Sky” is an amazing album.
This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Samuel Reid. Lights Out as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Midnight Visitor is really the reason why I recommend buying Sanctuary 2 Fire From The Sky. I listened to the opening track Anvil Of The Gods and liked it a lot. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Sanctuary 2 Fire From The Sky is Field Of Dreams. Mantle Of Light (Thunderstorm Only) is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Sanctuary 2 Fire From The Sky. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. A Distant Star is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Samuel Reid released so far. Ceide Fields - Okay, I just talked about depth. Voice and instruments in The Dawning Of The Day complement each other.
