Since completing 1997’s ‘Track 01′, Various Artists fulfilled their contract with Cedille Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Clavis carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. This disc has all of the essential Various Artists classics. Clavis is what good Pop should be.
Various Artists must have run out of lyrics on the next track Track 02. Track 03 is a great opener for Clavis. Track 04 hits the heart. Track 05 actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Various Artists’s face. Track 06 - A classic Various Artists track. Track 07 is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Music in Track 08 is perfect as in all tracks of Clavis. Track 09 is simply perfect. A unique and uplifting song. Only one song from Clavis named Track 11 really got me. Track 12 - another great track from the Clavis album.
