This album has some very good songs like Akhnaten - Act I, Scene III: “The Window Of Appearances” and Itaipu (Traditional Guarani Indian): “The Dam” (Itaipu (Traditional Guarani Indian): “The Dam”). This disc has all of the essential Various Artists classics. Thom Yorke has compared writing for Various Artists’s new album to that on ‘Glassmasters cd1′ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Exciting stuff.
Itaipu (Traditional Guarani Indian): “The Dam” (Itaipu (Traditional Guarani Indian): “The Dam”) is a amazing song and it grows on you. Although Satyagraha - Act I, Scene III: “The Vow” is very melodic it is far from sad. Liquid Days - Part II, Songs From Liquid Days: “Open The Kingdom” is a very catchy tune. Akhnaten - Act III, Scene II: “Attack and Fall” (7:49) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! Satyagraha - Act II, Scene I: “Confrontation and Rescue” has a fun tempo. Akhnaten - Act I, Scene I: “Funeral Of Amenhotep III” is one of these floating songs.
